And I am a Dutch musician, composer, producer, multi-instrumentalist and music therapist. In my story telling music with harp, flute, piano and much more you can listen to songs of my heart. Music by Charlotte is my own label.



The Meaning Behind the Name "Charlotte"


For me, the name “Charlotte” has personal significance, as it is my middle name. This gave me a sense of connection and authenticity when I chose to use this name: after all, the name Charlotte is already part of my identity.

Because I already carry this name with me, I can truly say,

“I am Charlotte.”


“Charlotte” is a name found in many different languages and cultures, making it recognizable and easy to pronounce and spell for people all over the world, so it can offer many benefits.




Meaning: The name Charlotte therefore literally means “little, free woman” or “female free person.”

The name suits me perfectly :-)
